New York City Helicopter Tour – The Best of Manhattan | 18-20 Minutes - Itinerary

For your exciting New York City Helicopter Tour you should make your way to the heliport, conveniently located at 6 East River Piers and easily reached by local buses or taxis. There will be a security check before you board.

Feel like a celebrity as you lift off in luxury and catch sight of the breath- taking view. Your pilot will provide an in-flight commentary throughout the trip. You’ll fly over lower Manhattan’s Battery Park and world-renowned Wall Street, and pass historic Governor’s Island before gliding on to greet the legendary Statue of Liberty.

The awesome experience continues as the view from Ellis Island up to the U.S.S. Intrepid unfolds before you. Your highly trained pilot will take you further on the Hudson River to view the fabled playground of New Yorkers, Central Park. Then swing past the Empire State Building and the Brooklyn Bridge and look down on the inspiring re-building work at Ground Zero.

This magical tour takes in all five boroughs of New York City. On the home stretch, you’ll sweep up and over the George Washington Bridge and pass Grant’s Tomb before swinging over to the brand new Yankee Stadium.

The tour lasts 18-20 minutes. At the end, you will be dropped back at the heliport at 6 East River Piers.

The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you may have.

Three different types of helicopter are used for these flights. The one you will travel in depends on the number of passengers travelling and other factors in operation on the day of your tour. The different helicopter models are:

Model: Bell 206 B3 Jet Ranger

Seating: 4 Passengers + 1 Pilot

Cruising Speed: 100 Nauts

Model: Bell 206L4 Long Ranger

Seating: 6 Passengers + 1 Pilot

Cruising Speed: 100 Nauts

Model: Bell 407

Seating: 6 Passengers + 1 Pilot

Cruising Speed: 140 Nauts

Please Note

Customers are required to advise their preferred flight time in the special request section on the booking form. Please call the activity operator at least 48 hours prior to start of the flight for reconfirming departure details.

Please report at the Heliport 1 hour before the flight time. This is mandatory to allow time for pre-departure briefing. Failure to do so may result in extended delays, or forfeiture of flight.

The helicopter operator reserves the right to upgrade, alter or terminate any or all of the flights due to security, weather or acts of God.

All guests must have a valid photo ID, check in all handbags and carry-ons and walk through a metal detector.

There is a $30 fee for every passenger as mandated by the heliport.

A minimum of 2 passengers is required to operate the flight.

300 pounds maximum weight per seat, passengers over 300 pounds require a two-seat purchase.

The tour operator cannot be responsible for personal items lost or stolen.

How to book

	Once you are happy with the price,proceed to checkout to our secure payment page. Enter your details and click on confirm and pay.
	A confirmation voucher for your activity will appear on your screen and a copy will be sent to your mailbox.
	You can easily change your dates,number of travelers and tour options during and after the booking process.
	If your tour status is On Request we will not charge your card until we have been able to confirm your booking with our supplier. If your tour status is bookable online, your card will be charged when you click confirm and pay.Please note that you don't have to pay anything at the destination.

What happens after you book

	Please print the electronic voucher sent to you and give them to the operator on the day of the activity.
	The voucher also includes the operator's complete contact details, and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you have.

How to Cancel

	Log on to your my isango! account to view the list of your existing bookings.
	Click on view details for the booking you wish to cancel, then click on cancel selected service.
	Your credit card will be refunded with the amount due, according to the cancellation policy.
