Cape Tribulation & Daintree Rainforest Tour From Cairns - Itinerary

For your thrilling Cape Tribulation & Daintree Rainforest Tour From Cairns you will be picked up from your hotel and will spend a day exploring one of the world’s oldest rainforests.

When hotel pick-up is complete, you will start your tour with 30-minute tour of Port Douglas followed by an early morning guided walk in Mossman Gorge. In the quiet morning environment, you can fully enjoy the atmosphere of this ancient rainforest, or if you prefer (subject to river volume), you can enjoy a refreshing swim.

After Mossman Gorge, you will enjoy morning tea before embarking on your next adventure – a 1-hour cruise on the Daintree River. An experienced River Guide will reveal the special wildlife of the river, which is the domain of the mighty estuarine crocodile. Also living among the mangrove-lined river banks are tree snakes, pythons, water birds and butterflies, so have your camera ready!

After the cruise, you will head towards Cape Tribulation, stopping on the way to admire the panoramic view from Alexandra Lookout. At the luxurious Restaurant and Bar at Cape Tribulation Resort and Spa, a sumptuous hot and cold buffet poolside lunch awaits you. Swim in the resort's pool and explore the adjacent beach. Travel to idyllic Cape Tribulation Beach and on to the Kulki lookout , where you can observe the point where rainforest gives way to white sand and fringing coral reef!

Take a stroll on the award-winning Daintree Rainforest Aerial Walkway and climb the Canopy Tower, which between them allow people of all ages easy access to every part of the rainforest. Enjoy observing the diversity of plants and animals living in this unique environment.

You will visit the acclaimed Mossman Gateway for Afternoon Tea and spending 1hour 45 minutes at Mossman Gorge. After enjoying afternoon tea, you will cross the river via the cable ferry crossing and travel back through the Daintree Valley. At the end of a day of delight and wonder you will be dropped back at your hotel.
