Then before you know, it you'll be up in the air with Melbourne spread out below. Look down to see Docklands, the great Eureka Tower with its gold crown, the Rod Laver Arena, the legendary Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and the beautiful Royal Exhibition Building.

You'll circle the MCG and finish with awesome skyscraper vistas and a thrilling Eureka Tower fly past. Don’t forget your camera!

Your Melbourne Helicopter Tour starts from the Private Lounge at Hangar 81, (Australasian Jet) Bristol St, Essendon Airport, Airport West to board your helicopter. Essendon Airport is located just off the Tullamarine Freeway. If you are driving from Melbourne’s Central Business District the airport is easy to find and is only 10 km (6 miles).
Please report at the meeting point 20 minutes before your scheduled time.

18 Minute Helicopter Flight Over Melbourne - Itinerary

You should make your way to the Private Lounge at Hangar 81, (Australasian Jet) Bristol St, Essendon Airport, Airport West.

In the Private Lounge you can relax and sip a complimentary glass of Australian sparkling wine (or soft drink) for about 15 minutes while your pilot gives you a pre-flight briefing (in English).

Then board your helicopter for your exciting 18-20 minute scenic flight. Everyone will get a window seat!

Your flight takes you over the following sights:

• Docklands: Waterfront area on the banks of the Yarra River, now undergoing extensive renewal.

• Eureka Tower: A 300-meter (984 ft) skyscraper in the Southbank precinct of Melbourne and the tallest residential building in the world.

• Rod Laver Arena: Multi-use venue hosting a wide range of sports and entertainment events, from Grand Slam tennis matches to international rock stars, and motorbike super-cross action to conferences, dinners and classical performances.

• Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG): One of the world's oldest and most famous cricket grounds.

• The Royal Exhibition Building: A World Heritage listed building constructed to host the Melbourne International Exhibition in 1880.

Your magical flight ends with another sweep over MCG and a final 'buzz' of Eureka Tower.

The tour ends at the starting point at the Private Lounge at Essendon Airport.

Please meet at the Private Lounge at Hangar 81 at Essendon Airport, at least 20 minutes before departure time.

This is a shared flight where you will be seated with people who may not be part of your party.

There is a maximum weight allowance of 280 kg in total for passengers and any hand luggage.

Essendon Airport is located just off the Tullamarine Freeway. If you are driving from Melbourne’s Central Business District the airport is easy to find and is only 10 km (6 miles). Take the following steps:

1. From Melbourne, take either the West Gate Freeway (West Bound), Flemington Road (North Bound) or Spencer Street (North Bound) until you reach the City Link Freeway.

2. Turn right onto the City Link Freeway and continue along the Tullamarine Freeway.

3. Go past the turnings to Bell Street and Bulla Road

4. Follow the Tullamarine Freeway (Do not take the Calder Freeway exit).

5. Take the left exit to Essendon Airport and Matthews Avenue.

6. At the traffic lights turn right onto English Street and follow the signs to the Passenger Terminal.

7. Continue past the General Passenger Terminal along Bristol St and look for the large Hangar 81 next to the grass area.

8. Walk down the path next to the hangar and enter the Private Lounge

How to book

	Select from available dates and enter number of passengers to see your total price. Click on confirm price and book.
	Once you are happy with the price,proceed to checkout to our secure payment page. Enter your details and click on confirm and pay.
	A confirmation voucher for your activity will appear on your screen and a copy will be sent to your mailbox.
	You can easily change your dates,number of travelers and tour options during and after the booking process.
	If your tour status is On Request we will not charge your card until we have been able to confirm your booking with our supplier. If your tour status is bookable online, your card will be charged when you click confirm and pay.Please note that you don't have to pay anything at the destination.
