Truly isolated from the rest of Maui, Hana and its jutting coast promise beautiful waterfalls and sparkling beaches that are untainted by the busy development that affects other parts of the island. Tour the two State Parks that preserve Hana’s unique beauty, Kaumahina and Waianapanapa. Here you can dig your toes into the famous volcanic black sand and smell the delightful aromas of ginger flowers. Sit by the beach in the historic Hana town or shop at the famous Hasegawa General Store. After the hot busy day, take a moment to relax and swim in the seven sacred pools of the Oheo Gulch.

Hana Coast Excursion - Itinerary




You will be picked up from your hotel in Maui (except Hana) by an air-conditioned coach and taken on a Hana Coast Excursion.

Enjoy the narration by a knowledgeable driver-cum-guide enroute.

You will then be escorted through the town of Paia which now stands as a quaint relic to its booming plantation past.

Then drive through the Kaumahina State Park and view its lush tropical foliage and stop at the famed Keanae Valley Lookout and snap a photo as the waves crash below you.

Drive through Puaa Kaa State Park and view the breathtaking waterfalls that dot the interior.

Then view the stunning interior of the Waianapanapa State Park which is famous for its volcanic black sand.

Experience Wailua Falls Lookout. Discover windsurfing beaches and the hidden side of Maui.

Stop in the quaint Hana Town and view the idyllic sugar plantations and cattle fields.

Take the opportunity to buy some macadamia nuts or famous Hana coffee at the famous Hasegawa General Store.

Conclude the trip by taking a refreshing swim (weather permitting) at the mouth of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding seven naturally forming pools at the Oheo Stream.

The tour will finish with you being dropped off at your hotel.

A confirmation voucher for your activity will appear on your screen and a copy will be sent to your mailbox.
You can easily change your dates,number of travelers and tour options during and after the booking process.
If your tour status is On Request we will not charge your card until we have been able to confirm your booking with our supplier.  If your tour status is bookable online, your card will be charged when you click confirm and pay.Please note that you don't have to pay anything at the destination.
What happens after you book
Please print the electronic voucher sent to you and give them to the operator on the day of the activity.
The voucher also includes the operator's complete contact details, and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you have.
