Fraser Island, stretching over 123 kilometres along the southern coast of Queensland, is the largest sand island in the world. This UNESCO World Heritage listed site is a place of exceptional beauty and a Fraser Island Tour is not to be missed.

Fraser Island’s long uninterrupted white beaches are flanked by strikingly coloured sand cliffs, and over 100 freshwater lakes, some tea-coloured and others clear and blue all ringed by white sandy beaches. Ancient rainforests grow in sand along the banks of fast-flowing, crystal-clear creeks. Central Station on Fraser Island is the only place in the world where tall rainforests are found growing on sand dunes at elevations of over 200 metres.

You will be picked up from your hotel and taken in a luxury coach for this Fraser Island tour, the world's largest sand island. An English-speaking guide will accompany you on this tour.

Travel by coach to Rainbow Beach. On the way to Rainbow Beach to join your 4WD tour, you'll view the majestic Glasshouse Mountains bordered by pine forests and pineapple plantations. At Rainbow Beach you transfer to your 4WD vehicle and set out with your expert driver who will take you for a ride across the sandy straits.

On setting foot on Southern Queensland's most impressive and famous attraction, Fraser Island, you'll be awed by the array of coloured sands, unspoiled freshwater lakes and creeks, pristine white beaches, towering rainforests and the endless stretch of the 75 kilometre long Ocean Beach.

You will visit the Central Station Rainforest, Lakes Mckenzie or Birrabeen and Eurong Resort. You may even spy one of the controversial island dingos, the purest specimens of this native Australian dog.

See the Maheno Shipwreck, rainforests and the Coloured Sands. Stop at Lake Allom, home to freshwater turtles which surface regularly.

Enjoy a delicious morning tea at Fraser Island Wilderness Retreat and sumptuous lunch at Frasers at Cathedral Beach. Relax in beautiful surrounds while your driver prepares grilled BBQ fresh fish or prime cut steaks with a selection of fresh salads and drinks.

At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel.
