Balloon Flight Over Alice Springs and the Australian Outback - Overview

Soar on top of the vast Australian Outback as the first rays of the sun light up the rugged MacDonnell Ranges. From the hot-air balloon look down upon kangaroos, spinifex grasses, mulga scrub and cattle stations.

The journey starts 1.5 hours before dawn, and during your 15-minute drive to the launch site your crew will explain the routine of using gas burners to inflate the balloon and the final launch. Whether you’re up for 30 minutes or 60, the experience will leave you spellbound.

Balloon Flight Over Alice Springs and the Australian Outback - Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel in Alice Springs. The journey starts 1.5 hours before dawn, and during your 15-minute drive to the launch site your guide will explain the routine of using gas burners to inflate the balloon and the final launch.

Soar over the Australian Outback and see kangaroos, spinifex grasses, mulga scrub and cattle stations.

You have the option of being in the hot air balloon for 30 or 60 minutes.

Enjoy a Glass of Champagne or Fruit Juice accompanied by a variety of individually served muesli biscuits, exotic slices, cheese and fresh fruit before re boarding your bus to return to your Hotel. The tour ends at your hotel.

The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you may have.

Please Note

Please call the activity operator at least 24 hours prior to start of the tour for reconfirming departure details.

It is recommended clients wear practical outdoor clothing including long pants, sturdy footwear and a hat. In the winter months it is essential to wear heavy clothing including beanie, scarf and gloves.

A reasonable level of fitness is required to participate in our hot air ballooning tours. Participants must be able to climb into the balloon basket and stand upright for the duration of the flight. All health conditions should be discussed with Outback Ballooning prior to departure.

How to book

	Select from available dates and enter number of passengers to see your total price. Click on confirm price and book.
	Once you are happy with the price,proceed to checkout to our secure payment page. Enter your details and click on confirm and pay.
	A confirmation voucher for your activity will appear on your screen and a copy will be sent to your mailbox.
	You can easily change your dates,number of travelers and tour options during and after the booking process.
	If your tour status is On Request we will not charge your card until we have been able to confirm your booking with our supplier. If your tour status is bookable online, your card will be charged when you click confirm and pay.Please note that you don't have to pay anything at the destination.

What happens after you book

	Please print the electronic voucher sent to you and give them to the operator on the day of the activity.
	The voucher also includes the operator's complete contact details, and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you have.

How to Cancel

	Log on to your my isango! account to view the list of your existing bookings.
	Click on view details for the booking you wish to cancel, then click on cancel selected service.
	Your credit card will be refunded with the amount due, according to the cancellation policy.
